family trip to colorado

in june we got to take a family vacation to one of our favorite places - colorado.  we got the chance to stay at a friend's house in evergreen, so we had incredible views and mountain air all around us.

nine months old...i can't believe how fast this year is going.  this month tillie started recognizing and responding to pictures and animals - ducks and cats, to be exact.  she even says the "c" sound when she sees pictures of cats, and a similar noise, which i think mimics a "quack" when she sees ducks.  this month we celebrated uncle nate's birthday, mommy and daddy's anniversary, and had another fun visit from grammy and grandpa kraft.  daddy also started his new job which meant lots more tillie and mommy time :)

nine month tillie: 19 pounds, 15 ounces; 28 3/4 inches long.  such a big girl.

at the end of may we got to take a trip to holden beach with the grandma & grandpa mathis, uncle john, and aunt elizabeth.  joseph and tillie took a road trip together early in the week and i joined the fun at the end of the week.  little tillie still loves her some beach time!
