avalon

the beginning of july brought a trip to avalon to see grammy and grandpa kraft...we also got to see uncle nate and aunt kathleen for a few days at the beach.  tillie had so much fun in the waves, and putting sand in her mouth of course.  we celebrated july fourth with the krafts and grammy taught tillie a few new tricks (like holding up one finger when you ask her how old she is) and uncle nate taught tillie how to give high fives. we had a wonderful and relaxing time and tillie is a natural beach bum.

tillie is soooo big!

high fives with uncle nate

loving a pancake from grandpa

bed head!

so tired after a day on the beach...she passed out on my bed in the afternoon!

so happy at sylvester's seafood

springer's ice cream!

she's a baby genius...already mastering sudoku

we had a little photo session one morning...tillie was a good sport about it

sleepy girl

july

in july we did lots of playing with friends, cousins, and tillie got two more teeth on the top.  she also learned to crawl (in her own unique style, with the right knee on the ground and the left foot on the floor), stand up, and cruise along the furniture.  she's recognizing her animals, with her own way of saying duck, cat, she hoots at owls, and says "woof" to dogs.  as always though, she still keeps a smile on her face for the majority of the time she's awake!

at the splash fountain with cousin noah, sparrow, and finn and henley

before she figured out how to crawl, tillie mastered the plank

enjoying imaginon as always

ducks are her favorite...a close second to dogs...and cats...and owls...

look who snuck up on me in the kitchen...standing up on her own

i don't know if my hair ties will be sufficient to keep little sneaky from getting into the cabinets

we have no idea where this face came from, but for about a week she kept doing it spontaneously.  however, we can't figure out how to get her to do it again!
